Tropical – Astacolor Flakes
Description: ASTACOLOR intensively colour-enhancing flake food for discus. Colour-enhancing flake food intended for everyday feeding of discus, especially red, and other fish whose coloration is to be intensified. High dosage of natural carotenoids, including easily assimilable astaxanthin, enhances coloration. Visible improvement of coloration can be observed after about two weeks of intensive feeding. Though ASTACOLOR contains only red carotenoids, the whole palette of colours gets intensified. In case of blue discus, frequent use of colour-enhancing foods will give them a gentle red hint. Not only do natural carotenoids intensify coloration but also enhance the immune system, maturation, reproductive capability and general condition of fish. Due to the fact that fish continuously use up carotenoids for various physiological processes, it is extremely necessary to provide fish with these compounds in their diet, as fish cannot synthetize them on their own.
Contents: crude protein 48.0%, crude oils and fats 7.8%, crude fibres 3.0%, moisture 6.0%.
Additives per kg: Vitamins, pro-vitamins and chemically well-defined substances having similar effect: vit. A 48 500 IU, vit. D3 2 850 IU, vit. E 175 mg, vit. C 1 150 mg, beta-carotene 157 mg. Compounds of trace elements: E1 (Fe) 51.0 mg, E6 (Zn) 14.2 mg, E5 (Mn) 10.6 mg, E4 (Cu) 2.5 mg, E2 (I) 0.3 mg, E8 (Se) 0.3 mg, E7 (Mo) 0.07 mg. Lecithin. Colourants: astaxanthin 120 mg. Antioxidants.
Ingredients: fish and fish derivatives, molluscs and crustaceans, vegetable protein extracts, algae (Spirulina platensis min. 2%), cereals, derivatives of vegetable origin, yeasts, oils and fats, minerals (including zeolite 1%).
Feeding advice: The food can be fed alone or in combination with other food. Feed the food daily in small portions. It is recommended to use this Discus food along with other Discusfood pellet feeds in the per day meal in every alternative schedule.
